Get the goss, including Katie Price: ‘Stop calling me a bad mum!’
‘I’m a good mum!’
She’s been raising eyebrows with her partying since moving on from husband Kieran Hayler to new boyfriend Kris Boyson. Meanwhile, Katie, 40, has also come under fire for appearing to spend less time with her children, Harvey, 16, Junior, 13, Princess, 11 this week, Jett, four, and Bunny, three.
But insiders close to Katie Price tell Woman’s Own she’s had enough of the opinions, slamming her critics and insisting she’s a good mum.
A source tells Woman’s Own, ‘Katie puts on a brave face, but deep down, she’s really upset about people judging her mothering techniques. The children are her life – she’d never do anything to put them at risk.’
On top of the fan backlash, harsh comments have suggested that some of her brood would be better moving in permanently with their dad, singer Peter Andre – which has understandably upset the star.
Our insider continues, ‘Katie’s fully capable of taking care of her children. She likes partying, but that doesn’t make her a bad mum. She loves her kids.’
Further stressing how important her family are to her, Katie’s representative recently released a statement, saying, ‘Katie is a remarkable mother and Peter is a wonderful father – together they are doing what is best for their children.’
