Fern Britton may have landed her dream job – but it’s going to come at a high price, as the star will be away from her husband, Phil Vickery, for nine months!
Fern, 60, has landed a role in the touring production of Gary Barlow’s Calendar Girls musical, which means spending months apart from her TV chef hubby from August. The mum-of-four explained, ‘The tour is nine months, but my husband encouraged me to go, as did my kids.’
Opening up further on how she will miss home, Fern continued, ‘My youngest will be going through her A-levels and driving lessons while I’m gone.’
We hope that Phil has reserved a seat in the front row!
