Diarrhoea

-

Often combined with cramping and bloating, diarrhoea can be a sign of IBS, a food intolerance, allergy or general infection. Sadly, embarrassment and refusal to seek help has resulted in nearly 28% of Brits having an accident in public, says Alflorex. How to fix it: ‘Most diarrhoea is best left to settle in its own time,’ says Dr Holmes. ‘Drink water and avoid fruit, fruit juices and dairy products. Diarrhoea for more than five days, or containing blood, should be discussed with your GP.’
