Are we too old to think about sex?
Q I am 69 and have recently met a man in his 70s. My children think our relationship is wonderful but were very shocked to discover that sex was on our minds. My son, who is 38, has even gone so far as to tell me it’s not right that I still think this way. Name withheld, by email A There’s absolutely no reason why you can’t still have sex right up until you no longer want to. There’s a great myth that sex is only for the young but studies show a great many people go on to have great sex lives well into their 80s. Ignore what your family says – it’s what you think and want that matters.
