Carol Vorderman: Has she had a bum lift?

Fans have noticed that Carol Vorderman’s derriere is looking rounder than ever...

-

There’s no denying Carol Vorderman has always had an impressively pert bottom, with her behind even earning her the title of Rear of the Year, twice.

But when she went out in London recently to meet friend Myleene Klass for lunch, fans couldn’t help but notice that Carol’s bum was looking more rounded than usual, with fans suggesting her behind has had a little ‘help’.

‘Has she had fat transfers?’ one person wrote. While another said, ‘She’s had fat transfer surgery now. No-one’s butt stays up there at her age,’ and a third person added, ‘She has her bottom lifted.’

All in the genes?

But, Carol, 57, previously confessed that her fuller bum is partly down to the Vorderman genes, with the former Countdown star admitting, ‘We all have, in my family, what we call the “Vorderman bottom” – a sticky out, bigger-thannormal, signature of the rear variety.’

Carol also credits regular exercise with helping her maintain her svelte figure, with the star previously confessing, ‘I love walking. I’m also starting some weight training now; after the age of 50 we lose muscle fast.’

But, when it comes to toning and lifting her bottom, she has admitted there’s one move in particular that works wonders. ‘Squats can get you every time, especially if you haven’t done them regularly. I have a huge bottom but it lifts quickly after a few routines,’ the star revealed.

However, leading cosmetic surgeon Dr Munir Somji tells Woman’s Own that Carol’s genes and workouts might not be the only things helping her bottom stay large, round and lifted. In Dr Somji’s view is that the presenter might have had some surgical enhancements to help.

‘It does seem as if Carol has had enhancement in the buttock area,’ he tells us. ‘This could be with using her own fat grafted from her waistline and hips, which look a lot more slimline when comparing her figure before compared to now.’

Surgery rumours

This wouldn’t be the first time that Carol has been plagued with cosmetic surgery rumours, as she’s constantly questioned by fans over her changing appearance. Most recently, the star was quizzed over her ‘puffy’-looking face during an appearance on BBC1’S The One Show.

However, Carol was quick to shut down claims she’s had any kind of surgical enhancements to her face, with the star explaining on Twitter why she looked different.

‘1. Am in San Diego. Just seen this. Sad. Filmed early July, just 2-3 wks after

‘She’s had surgery. No-one’s butt stays up there’

‘Carol’s never ruled out having surgery’

Mum’s funeral when still grieving badly,’ Carol confessed. Adding: ‘2. On medication at the time, no sleep, heartbroken. Face puffy, eyes red and generally looking a mess? Yes. But that was months ago….’ Carol has never confirmed or denied whether she has had plastic surgery, but in 2012 she did suggest she was open to a little work if she ever required it. ‘I’m a bit frightened of the idea of a full facelift because you want to look like yourself. But I’ll get little things done, I might have an eyelift if I feel I need one,’ she revealed. However, Carol now often laughs off cosmetic surgery accusations and previously revealed, ‘When it comes to surgery though, I won’t even get involved with it all. It has been reported that I have had so much done and if it was all true I’d look a lot better than I do now.’ But bearing in mind the latest snaps and comments about the star’s derriere, could Carol have finally had a little bit of extra help?
