Get the flu jab
Most will protect you from at least three strains of flu for about a year. ‘I would recommend having it when it first becomes available (usually Sept), but getting it later can still help prevent certain strains,’ advises Dr Andrew Thornber from Now Healthcare Group. If you’re not eligible for a free jab on the NHS, it costs £8-£13 for a high-street service.
