The Snow Village at Lainio is a great evening out for the family. The hotel is built from blocks of ice and has been cleverly sculpted inside to include rooms with ice beds that guests can actually stay the night in! There are stunning creative ice sculptures and a fantastic indoor ice slide for kids. Adults will no doubt enjoy the ice bar with ice chairs and tables, where warming shots are served from an ice glass, while the kids sip hot chocolate. And, weirdly, the temperature is warmer inside – a cosy -5C. There’s a restaurant to cater for all your dinner requirements, before you head back to the kids’ toboggans and snowmobile track. Helmets on and they can whizz round a couple of times and experience the thrill of the ride.
