The Old Man & the Gun Out 7 December

At the age of 82, screen legend Robert Redford is still going strong – and so is his geriatric gentleman bank robber in this bittersweet crime caper based on a true story. With a lifetime of heists and jailbreaks behind him, this self-styled Houdini remains a nimble step ahead of Casey Affleck’s dogged cop while conducting a gentle courtship of a widow (Sissy Spacek). The use of footage from the star’s old films is a nice touch.
