I spent both my bingo wins on family holid

As I picked up my cup of coffee, I sunk into the armchair. ‘Cleaning really takes it out of you,’ I thought. Just then, I remembered about the bingo. Two hours earlier I’d bought 25 tickets for a later game on Bingo Lounge, a 75-ball bingo game.

Initially signing up to Woman’s Own Bingo back in 2007, after seeing a magazine article about another winner, playing online bingo became one of my pastimes. The slots were fun, too, but I always went back to bingo as I enjoyed the games and the chatrooms had a great atmosphere. I’d chat to other players while my games played out. They’d always be helpful if I had a question and we always had a laugh.

Over the years I’d had a few wins and spent it on holidays – we went to Gran Canaria and Turkey – and things for the kids. We would go to theme parks or play crazy golf. We’ve enjoyed many family days out and had so much fun together.

I never played bingo to win but it was always a great bonus. That day back in February I had pre-bought my tickets for a game, then got on with the cleaning. As I turned my phone back on, I saw that the game was still running, but then I got a surprise.

Utter disbelief

‘No way,’ I said out loud, looking at the app as ‘winner’ and my name flashed up at me on my phone. It was telling me that I’d won the game – my biggest jackpot to date.

I just stared in disbelief. But my balance had gone up thanks to my £3,330 win!

As I got on with some chores I kept remembering that I’d won, and a little smile would creep on to my face.

I spent my winnings on the kids. My daughter had a trip to Paris coming up, while my little boy wanted to go on a trip to the Christmas markets in Cologne.

Then, this May, I had another lovely surprise. I decided to play my favourite

game, Bingo Lounge, and bought 30 tickets for £3.

Following the natter in the chatroom, I glanced back to the game… ‘Just one more,’ I gasped in surprise. Then, my number came up and my name flashed up on the screen!

‘I’ve won!’ I shouted out. But I had won way more than I originally thought I had.

‘i was chuffed to have found games that are such fun to play’

I thought I’d won the £100 jackpot – but it was actually the main prize I’d managed to bag. I suddenly noticed that my balance had shot up by £1,573.

I spent these winnings on a family holiday to Antalya in Turkey – I can’t wait to relax and soak up some sun.

When I joined all those years ago, I was chuffed to have found such an entertaining community on Woman’s Own Bingo and some online games that were so much fun to play. I never expected to win big and was surprised when it really happened to me.
