After years of yo-yo dieting, the broadcaster got a gastric band fitted in 2010, which helped her drop a whopping six stone. However, eight years down the line, the 56-yearold has said she’s had major health scares as a result of the band slipping, but is scared to get it removed. ‘I’m scared I’ll suddenly eat an entire camel and a herd of elephants,’ admitted mum-of-two Vanessa. ‘It’s been restricting me for eight years.’
