Look­ing at Mel it’s hard to be­lieve that the TV pre­sen­ter is 48, es­pe­cially with her slim, toned legs and en­vi­able rock-hard abs.

Mel ad­mits her great body doesn’t come eas­ily, adding, ‘I work out an av­er­age of four times a week – a mix­ture of weight train­ing, high-in­ten­sity boot camp classes, tennis, barre classes and re­former Pi­lates.’ While she looks great, it’s clear the mum-of-two feels great too, ‘I was broadly happy with my body – I’m still a size 10 – but I loved go­ing to the gym as it gave me a bit of time alone.’
