‘The day goes better after I’ve worked out’

The Strictly co-host is constantly praised for her slim figure and enjoys a number of different exercises during her ‘two one-hour sessions’ a week with her PT, which includes the bike, ab exercises and weights.

‘My trainer pushes me quite hard and never lets me get away with chickening out,’ she has said. ‘At the time I hate it but I love the pay-off – the rest of the day goes much better after I’ve worked out.’

And it’s clear that the whole family get involved, including husband Vernon Kay, with mum-of-two Tess, 49, revealing, ‘We go bike riding, walk the dogs, go for walks by the river in the Chilterns – we’re totally active.’
