Kym Marsh found love with hunky Army major Scott Ratcliff, 30, back in June last year and, nearly eight months on, the Coronation Street actress has exclusively told us how the couple cope with the lengthy periods of time apart.

‘I’ve only just experienced him being away for almost seven weeks. It’s hard. I think you support each other throughout. It’s a shared experience,’ reveals Kym, 42.

And it’s clear that the couple have the perfect solution for coping with their time apart. As Scott tells us, ‘We wrote to each other every week because I live and work in Colchester and Kym lives and works in Manchester, so we wrote letters that we would open every Friday because that’s when we would normally see each other.’

Looks like these two have got it all figured out.
