WILL HE EXPECT ME TO DO EVERYTHING?

-

QMy partner is in his 40s and still lives at home with his parents. He moved back after his divorce a few years ago and has never moved out. He can afford to; he says he likes that his mum does everything for him, from cooking to clothes washing. We are talking about moving in together,

but his view of his mum worries me. What should I do?

AIt would help if you talked to your partner about expectations around moving in together. Bring up what you’re worried about, and be clear that you expect him to not only look after himself but share everything. It could be that he knows this already, but it doesn’t hurt to say in light of his recent comment.
