‘We don’t feel like we are failing’

Kiran’s husband, Simon, 61, says, ‘As a married couple, we have found ourselves in a place where we haven’t had children. Sadly, that is nearly always seen as a failure of a marriage by most societies. We don’t feel we are failing at all. We have found each other as soulmates and, most of all, as best friends.’
