Varicose veins and circulation

Vascular surgeon Dr Mark Gannon of Spire Parkway Hospital says: ‘The most common conditions affecting the healthy flow of blood around the body include having a heart condition, being overweight, diabetes, having an eating disorder, blood clots, peripheral artery disease (PAD – a serious circulatory condition that causes narrowing of the blood vessels and arteries) and yes, varicose veins.’
