Keira just wants to move on and certainly doesn’t want to be a part of any cancer club – but it’s the running group with others going through similar treatment that seems to give her the hope she needs. Lloyd doesn’t shy away from the stark and raw reality of having cancer, but does manage to write a beautiful, uplifting story about the determination of women, female friendships and taking life’s toughest challenges one step at a time.
