KATE’S FIGHT FOR LOVE
Perhaps both the funniest and most shocking news you’ve heard so far this year.… On her hen night, hosted by her sister Pippa, the Duchess of Cambridge dressed up as former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl and put on a performance as the pop star. Yes, really. Cheryl says Prince William dropped the bombshell at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee concert in 2012, jokingly asking, ‘Did you know you’ve got a bit of competition?’. Cheryl says a giggling Kate admitted she, ‘dressed up as me, in a bodysuit and split trousers, and sang Fight For This Love. ‘She even learnt the dance routine and was step-perfect by all accounts, as her sister Pippa and brother James also came over and told me all about it.’ We don’t know what’s most impressive, the idea of the future Queen moonlighting as a pop star, or that Cheryl managed to keep this quiet until now!
