HE’S BLAMING ME FOR HIS AFFAIR

I’ve recently found out my husband has been having an affair. It started at work, and I only found out as he sent her a naked picture that I saw on his phone. What upsets me is he’s blaming me for it. He says it’s my fault as I am too involved with the kids. When I shouted him down about it, he said it was his friends’ fault

for encouraging him. I can’t see why he won’t take responsibility if he wants us to be together? A

The reason why he can’t bring himself to be accountable comes down to him trying to justify his behaviour to himself. It’s easier to blame others. It could break your marriage if he doesn’t acknowledge the pain he has caused you. Be honest with him about what you need to hear if he does want you to stay together.
