‘One of the most important muscle groups to strengthen is the quadriceps – the large thigh muscles on the front of your upper leg,’ says Rosalind. Sit on an upright chair and scoot forward to the front. Ensure your feet are directly under your knees, and your shoulders directly over them. Slowly rise upright from this position by pressing down with your feet and pushing with your knees, without using your hands.
