As soon as we boarded the 11-hour flight, Ben, then two, started screaming. Refusing to accept tutting from other passengers, I stood up and called out, ‘Just give me a chance to settle him!’ Ben then slept for the whole flight! We returned to Bangkok in 2008 and toddler Freddie (left) loved seeing the sights.
