The Duchess of Sussex may have ruffled a few feathers since she and Prince Harry decided to withdraw from royal duties in January 2020. But now a source has claimed that Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, was always dubious about her step-daughter-in-law. Royal biographer Tom Bower said, ‘From the outset, Camilla was suspicious about the adventuress from Los Angeles… She found it hard to believe that Meghan would sacrifice her career and independence to serve silently as a team player devoted to the monarchy.’ Harsh!
