If, like me, you were gripped by Beeb drama Chloe about a woman who becomes obsessed with an old friend on Instagram, then you’ll know Erin Doherty who stars in it. Erin found fame as Princess Anne in The Crown so I asked her if she’d ever met HRH: ‘No… and I’m kind of terrified,’ admits Erin, who took two hours in make-up to perfect Anne’s 1970s bouffant. ‘I’m like, “What would you say?” I’ve spent two to three years of my life with her or with my idea of her, so I’d love to actually see her in the flesh.’ Having met the princess myself, I can say Erin was a triumph!
