AN UNLIKELY FRIENDSHIP?
Does US rapper Snoop Dogg, 50, have an ally in high places? Back in 1993 Snoop was on trial for murder (which he was later acquitted of) while touring in the UK – and there were calls to remove him from the country. But now the star, real name Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr, revealed that the Queen came to his defence. He explained, ‘She said, “This man has done nothing in our country. He can come”’. Before joking, ‘That’s Harry and William’s grandmother, you dig? You think they weren’t there saying, “Grandma, let him in! He’s OK, we love his music”?’ Harry was spotted at the Super Bowl this February where Snoop Dogg performed, so stranger things have happened!
