This one-off drama is the untold love story of cabaret performers Barbara Lisicki (Ruth Madeley) and Alan Holdsworth (Arthur Hughes), who became the leading lights in the campaign for disability rights in the 1990s. After meeting at a gig, they ran an unprecedented campaign of direct action. Look out for former Silent Witness star Liz Carr, who was involved in the campaign and appears as herself.
