The upcycling presenter of Kirstie: Keep Crafting and Carry On saw her career nosedive when her comments were taken out of context by The Sunday Times, which later issued an apology. After the initial article, Kirstie came under fire for allegedly suggesting that young people struggling to buy a home should cancel their Netflix subscriptions. Calls were made for Kirstie herself to be ‘cancelled’.
