FINDING A BARGAIN
Back in the day the sniff test used to be all you needed to let you know whether something was safe to eat or drink. Then the nanny state introduced a list of ’elf and safety rules that led to piles of perfectly good food being wasted.
Well hallelujah, those rules are now being relaxed and a host of websites have sprung up with advice on where to buy products, often less than half their original price, because they are past their sell-by dates.
Totally brilliant idea, especially as it involves the price of posh chocs coming down from £28 to £8. Well, it did… I’ve just bought them all.
