Am I too late for jab?

-

Q

I have resisted having the COVID-19 vaccine because I was worried that it was developed so quickly that corners may have been cut, but I had coronavirus recently and was nearly hospitalised with it. I’ve heard of several people who have had it twice, so would like to start the course of vaccines. How long do I have to wait? A

There is no need to worry. Rest assured, there were no corners cut in developing any of the vaccines.

Parts of the clinical trials that would normally have run one after the other were run at the same time, but all of the normal safety measures were maintained. You should wait at least four weeks after the onset of COVID-19 symptoms or diagnosis before being vaccinated.
