Richard’s SURPRISE WEDDING PROPOSAL
It’s no secret that Richard Madeley, 65, and Judy Finnigan, 73, were married to other people when they first met. Now they’ve revealed a snippet about the start of their relationship – Richard’s early proposal. ‘I was married and she was married at the time… but we were kindred spirits…,’ he said. ‘I came clean after about three weeks [into dating] and said, “Look, I’ve got to tell you I think you’re the person that I want to marry.’’’ Judy revealed, ‘As Richard and I got closer, it was clear things were very, very serious.’
