KEEPING EVERYONE HAPPY

-

Dating information is everywhere these days, but what there is a lack of, according to one expert, is advice on how not to become a smug couple once you’ve found The One.

Here are the things to avoid if you want to have a happy partner and keep your mates on side, too:

Never put your partner down in front of your mates. Major fail on this one for me.

Bragging about how happy you are, especially in the bedroom. Err, after 36 years of wedded bliss, tales of unbridled passion would be a bit hard for my mates to believe. Too many public displays of affection. See above.

Too many public displays of anger. Ooh, nailed this one! Flirting with other men in front of mates and partner. This is ‘micro-cheating’ evidently. Aggressively marking your territory. Being overly possessive is clearly a turn-off. Got mine tattooed with my name when we got engaged. Another fail! (He wanted to do it, by the way, and it was cheaper than a ring.)
