Richard Madeley, 65, and Judy Finnigan, 73, may be showbiz royalty but it seems that even they get starstruck from time to time – and none more so than when the late Wham! legend George Michael said he’d come to tea. Richard revealed, ‘I put the phone down, and I turned around and Judy was standing on her head. I’ve never seen my wife do a handstand before. [We] just couldn’t believe that George f ***** g Michael was coming to our house for lunch.’ What’s more, George’s visit wasn’t fleeting. The duo divulged, ‘We got on and they [George and then-boyfriend Kenny] were here for seven hours.
‘George picked up his fork and he was nicking roasties off everybody else’s plate!’
