USE PILLOWS

CHECK YOUR MATTRESS

‘Having a supportive mattress can make a big difference in your comfort levels when experienci­ng arthritis. It’s important to make sure the mattress is not too firm so it can reduce the contact pressure on the joints.’

CONSIDER YOUR MEDICATION

‘If you can’t sleep, talk to your GP to develop a plan for managing your arthritic pain so you can get good rest.’
