Brenda Edwards, 53, has opened up about her son Jamal’s sudden and tragic death for the first time since his passing in February aged just 31. Bravely speaking to friend and fellow Loose Woman Coleen Nolan, she revealed ‘I was with him. His sister was with us. We were all at home… It was sudden and it was unexpected and he went into a cardiac arrest and he passed with me holding his hand… I get a little bit of comfort from knowing that I was with him.’
‘[Jamal] said “we all die, the goal is not to live forever but to create something that will”, adding, ‘And I believe he has created something that will and I’m determined to make sure that it will. That’s my goal,’ as she spoke about the Jamal Edwards Self Belief Trust, which has been set up in his name.
