Will Holly leave with him?

-

Holly Willoughby continues to branch out from This Morning.

Holly put an end to swirling rumours she was quitting the flagship show when it was reported that she’d signed a new two-year contract to host it until 2023. However, the 41-year-old star’s eagle-eyed fans can’t be the only ones to notice that Holly has begun branching out away from her usual daytime TV duties to take on a number of exciting new solo projects. The mum-ofthree has won over viewers with the BBC adventure series Freeze the Fear with Wim Hof, which she hosts with comedian Lee Mack.

This week she’s fronting ITV’S new sports extravaganza The Games, alongside Freddie Flintoff.

Speaking about the show, which sees familiar faces from showbiz competing in a series of epic sporting challenges, Holly said, ‘I’m really excited to be presenting The Games with Freddie and the rest of the team. I can’t wait to watch our celebrity competitors go head-to-head.’

The host added that it’s been a real eye-opener of a job, explaining, ‘I sometimes think sport can be slightly intimidating and scary for somebody that doesn’t really know anything about it or do it. But it’s quite nice to have that access to it as it brings a lot of joy for all the generations.’

On top of juggling mounting screen commitments and home life with her three children with producer hubby Dan Baldwin – Harry, 13 this month, Belle, 11, and Chester, seven – Holly has further future-proofed herself with the launch of her popular lifestyle brand Wylde Moon. So could this mark the start of a new chapter? Time will tell… ✣ The Games airs on ITV from Mon 9-Fri 13 May at 9pm
