‘When pollen gets into the eyes, rubbing them is a natural reflex, but it can increase the inflammation and amount of pollen entering the eye from hands. Glasses can act as a reminder not to rub them.’

‘This provides some relief for itchy eyes and helps reduce swelling. Soak a cloth in cold water and leave it in the fridge to cool down.’
