Coleen Rooney may have won the first round, but it seems the Wagatha Christie battle isn’t over yet. Rebekah Vardy, 40, has been told to pay for both her and Coleen’s legal costs after losing her £3 million libel trial, with the court finding she ‘frequently abused her status as a trusted follower [of Coleen]’ and ‘knew of, condoned and was actively engaged’ in media leaks.
However, a source has revealed Coleen, 36, may put forward ‘her own damages claim against Becky for misuse of private information and a breach of data protection laws’.
Meanwhile, it’s been claimed that Rebekah is in talks to release a tell-all book about the saga, while reports suggest production companies are sniffing around rights for a drama – with Jodie Comer and Emerald Fennell in the frame to play the two leading ladies. Watch this space…
