A VIEW TO A KILT
A trip to the Edinburgh Festival with pal, actor/comedian Omid Djalili – fresh from his star turn at Windsor during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. It’s where it all began for the funnyman back in 1993, but Scotland has long been close to his heart – his father-in-law is Scottish. ‘He says my comedy is legendary, and by that he means a myth,’ Omid tells me. ‘It’s like the Loch Ness monster. Everybody has heard of it but no one has seen it.’
