DESTINED FOR GREATNESS

The fourth child of John, the 8th Earl Spencer and his wife Frances, Diana Frances Spencer was born on July 1 1961. Affectionately known as ‘Duch’ (short for duchess) during childhood, clearly her family and friends always thought Diana would go on to great things.
