Get ready to be baffled and bemused as another bunch of celebrities in amazing disguises perform dance routines when The Masked Dancer
returns this week.
Joel Dommett hosts again, while Davina and Jonathan are back on the panel trying to guess who’s behind characters such as Tomato Sauce, Prawn Cocktail and Candlestick!
‘The costumes are better than ever and the people under the masks are more impressive and harder to guess, too,’ says Jonathan. ‘It’s so much fun!’
As the panel, the studio audience and viewers at home try to work out who the celebs are, they get a few clues along the way but that doesn’t necessarily make it any easier…
‘Even after the show I take clues away with me and
I think, who could that be?’ says Davina. ‘I think about it non-stop. It’s exhausting!’
Also on the panel are fellow returnee Oti Mabuse of Strictly fame and former footballer Peter Crouch, famous for performing his robot dance on the pitch. He’s standing in for Mo Gilligan, who will return later in the series.
‘Pete’s great and so much fun,’ says Jonathan. ‘We made him do the robot a lot!’
And Davina says the former England striker has done wonders for her credibility: ‘He’s given me massive kudos with all the football fans in my life. I’ve become the most popular person ever!’
