STOP FEELING FEARFUL
1 TAKE A MOMENT TO CONSIDER YOUR FEAR. Fear is a natural response to a perceived threat, but it can inspire a fight-or-flight response in situations, even where there is no threat. Take a moment to consider whether your fear is valid.
2 DON’T AVOID THE THINGS THAT SCARE YOU. Avoiding triggers increases your fear of them and stops your body getting accustomed to the threat (which lessens your anxiety).
3 DOWNLOAD THE CLEAR FEAR APP. This excellent free app uses a cognitive behavioural framework to help you change anxious thoughts and calm your fear responses. You can download it from Google Play or the App Store.
