Simon FACING A LAWSUIT?
Larking around with his pet pooches at America’s Got Talent, Simon Cowell didn’t appear to have a care in the world. But the 62-year-old may soon have to face up to the news that former X Factor contestants are planning a £1m bullying lawsuit against his entertainment company Syco. It’s been reported that six acts are intending to sue the label for alleged ‘bullying, mistreatment and neglect’ as a result of going on the show, and are said to have evidence to support their claims. A spokesperson for The X Factor said, ‘Welfare of those taking part is our No.1 priority, and we have robust measures and welfare teams in place to ensure support is available. We’re unaware of any legal claims… We remain open to discuss concerns with anyone who chooses to do so.’
