TAKE STOCK AND PLAN

‘First calculate how many cups of tea/coffee/energy drinks you’re consuming each day. Then, decide how much you want to cut back on. You don’t have to give up caffeine entirely; even tiny tweaks during the week can make a big difference.’

TRY DECAF

‘There are so many varieties of decaf teas available now. Whatever your favourite brand is, they’re likely to have a decaf option, which doesn’t taste too dissimilar.’

TAKE THE TEABAG OUT

‘A good way to start lowering your caffeine intake is by reducing the brewing time on the tea you’re currently having by half. How long you leave the teabag in your cup or mug can influence the amount of caffeine you drink.’
