WHY WON’T HE SPEAK TO ME?

I broke up with my partner of three years a few weeks ago. It was a hard decision and it was based on lots of things. The problem is, I want to discuss these things with him, but he won’t speak to me, saying he’s not interested. He has blocked me and refused my calls. Should I go round to his place?

Many people simply don’t want to deal with the emotions involved in a break-up – this is the most likely reason that your ex isn’t interested in speaking to you. In his mind, you did the breaking up, and while you may feel that you want to get closure by explaining why, this isn’t what he wants or needs right now. You need to respect his decision and move on.
