So does the former X Factor judge miss London? ‘I miss the buzz,’ she confesses, but of course Australia is still very much home for Kylie’s sister. ‘Thanks for the belly laugh,’ she texted me later. ‘That’s the only exercise I’ve had today!’ It was my ‘abs’-olute pleasure!

LUKE WHO’S TALKING!

My ex next-door neighbour and Hollywood star Luke Evans has never been busier globetrotting and filming, everywhere from LA to New York, Japan and Acapulco in the run-up to Christmas. Speaking of Yuletide, he’s voicing the lead role in Scrooge: A Christmas Carol, a new musical animation of Charles Dickens’ classic tale, out on Netflix in December. Luke’s welcome in our stockings any time!

Following in the footsteps of fellow Loose Women like Judi Love and Ruth Langsford, Kaye Adams is loving every minute in firm hold with her Strictly pro partner Kai Widdrington. ‘It’s made in heaven, the stars are aligned. He’s even got a great Scottish accent, too,’ Kaye tells me. ‘It’s so outside my normal experience,’ adds my ITV pal. ‘I do want to thank Kai’s mum personally, though, for the job she’s done with this guy!’
