A COLOUR OF RESPECT

Incredibly, it’s been almost a month since the death of the Queen and there are some members of the Royal Family still wearing black. Her Majesty herself wore mourning clothes for a month after Prince Philip died. Queen Victoria wore it from the day she lost Albert until she died 40 years later. Elsewhere, in East Asia, the colour of mourning is white, it’s red in South Africa and purple in Thailand and South America.
