Series six latest!

Originally, Peter Morgan planned for the drama to run over six series of 10 episodes each, but while writing the fifth series, he decided that it was ‘the perfect time and place to stop’. However, luckily for us, he later revealed that he had changed his mind so there will be a sixth series after all. If it follows on from 1997, it could well include the Queen’s Golden Jubilee in 2002 – the year that also saw the deaths of both the Queen Mother and Princess Margaret.
