STOP ‘FRONTING’

A growing number of parents are naming themselves as the main driver on their child’s car insurance policy, to bring down the premium, says LV= General Insurance. However, ‘fronting’ is insurance fraud and carries serious consequences. Parents could have their own car insurance cancelled and, if the child’s car is in an accident, could be liable for damages and injuries caused. Other penalties include a fine, licence points and even a criminal record.
