ROYAL BOMBSHELL!

-

After tentative steps were made on both sides towards reconciliation after the death of Queen Elizabeth II, could King Charles be about to find himself embroiled in another argument with his youngest son, Prince Harry?

After it was announced that the coronation for the new King is to be held on 6 May next year, some eagle-eyed royal watchers pointed out that the date for the King to be crowned actually falls on his grandson Archie’s fourth birthday.

While it has yet to be announced whether the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are to be invited, the news of the coronation date could upset Harry, 36, who infamously left England, his position as a working royal and his titles behind him back in 2020 when he and wife Meghan, 41, decided to relocate to America.

The news comes weeks after Harry returned to the UK and reunited with his brother and father, sparking hopes of a reconciliation. Harry and Meghan also appeared to take a breather from their attacks on the crown too, with Meghan pausing the release of her podcast for a month and Harry reportedly trying to make last-minute edits to his much-talkedabout autobiography.

Could Charles’ coronation bombshell throw any progress made in healing the family rift into danger if Harry has to choose between celebrating his dad’s accession to the throne or his son’s birthday? After all, one cannot upstage the King…
