He’s used to fighting off bad guys in his films, but recent events have seen Tom Cruise enlist extra measures when it comes to his safety.
The actor, 60, has reportedly hired a bodyguard while he films Mission: Impossible 8 after a disgruntled former employee issued death threats. A source said, ‘Things have got increasingly unpleasant with a former crew member and now it’s a case of taking no chances… It’s a bit of art imitating life, on set it’s all about heavy protection and threats and now the same thing is going on behind the cameras.’
Now the former employee – who was let go by the production team – is said to have begun litigation toward Tom, director Christopher Mcquarrie and Paramount Studios.
