Are you ever too old for a tattoo? Singer Annie Lennox has had her first – at the tender age of 67. It’s of two birds and a heart on her hip and looks rather lovely. She’s not the oldest celeb tattoo convert, though – Dame Judi Dench acquired one at 81! And they’re not alone – in the US, the number of tattoo-parlour customers in their 60s and 70s has doubled in the past year. There’s a trend for mums and daughters to have matching designs, too. But as my lovely mum has always been needled by my tattoos (see what I did there?), not convinced this is one for us.
